Karnataka SSLC 2020 Pending Exams to begin today, Get Complete Details Here

Karnataka SSLC Exam 2020: The Karnataka Secondary Education Board will begin the pending Karnataka SSLC examinations from today onwards. Candidates who are to appear for the class 10 Karnataka Board examinations are advised to reach the examination centre at least 3 hours before the commencement of the examination. Students appearing for the exams are also advised to carry their class 10 exam admit card with them for the examination. The state government has also added that the necessary measures have been made for the students keeping in mind the COVID-19 situation in the state. The Karnataka SSLC Examinations are scheduled to commence from 10:30 AM today. 

S Suresh Kumar, Minister for Primary and Secondary Education, Government of Karnataka said that early entry to Karnataka SSLC Board exam 2020 will help towards maintaining social distancing which is very essential in the prevention of the COVID-19 pandemic. According to the notification shared by Karnataka Health Minister B Sriramulu via his official twitter handle, Karnataka SSLC exams 2020 will begin from tomorrow for which about 8,48,203 students are expected to appear. Masks and social distancing is mandatory tweeted the Minister who also said that students from containment zones will be carefully handled. The Minister was also quoted saying that there will be an increase in the number of notice boards providing details about the Karnataka Board 10th exam 2020 in the centres. Along with this, said the Minister, that once students are onside the exam centres there will be multiple announcements over PA systems guiding students on what they are needed to do.

Karnataka is the second state in southern India after Kerala, conducting the pending SSLC exams. As per the schedule, the Karnataka Board 10th exam 2020 will begin on 25th June and end on 4th July 2020. The Karnataka SSLC exams 2020 had been scheduled in March but were cancelled owing to the COVID-19 lockdown.
