Important Takeaways From the Official Notice of UPTET 2026

Given below are some of the important takeaways of the official notice of the UPTET 2026 taken by the Commission:-

  • OMR Sheet Filling Errors:- UPESSC has emphasized that instructions were clearly highlighted on the admit cards, test booklets, and OMR sheets. Because evaluation relies strictly on automated computer scanning, invalid or incorrectly bubbled roll numbers and booklet codes cannot be read. Citing established judicial rulings, the Commission declared these claims inadmissible.
  • Scientific Validity of Normalisation Formula:- Addressing candidates' concerns about score adjustments across multi-shift exams, UPESSC reconfirmed that the normalisation algorithm uses court-backed scientific standards. Fluctuations in scores between different shifts are normal, meaning requests to alter raw or normalised marks were officially turned down.
