CBSE Class 10 Maths (Basic) Marking Scheme 2026-27

Since students are now receiving a sample paper, we are also giving them the marking guidelines and the solutions. The marking scheme and answers are available for students to view after completing the example papers.

CBSE Class 10 Maths Standard Sample Paper 2027: How to Use It for Preparation

Students should avoid simply reading the sample paper. Instead, they should attempt it as a full-length mock examination.
Set a timer and solve the complete paper without referring to textbooks, notes or solution material. After completing the paper, compare the answers with the official marking scheme.
Students should also maintain a list of questions they could not solve or where they lost marks. These questions can then be categorised into calculation errors, formula-related mistakes, conceptual gaps or time-management issues.
This approach can make sample-paper practice more useful than repeatedly solving questions without analysing mistakes.
