SBI Clerk Exam Day Guidelines 2026:- The State Bank of India (SBI) will conduct the SBI Clerk Prelim Exam 2026 for 9766 Junior Associate posts (Customer Support and Sales) on September 26 and 27, 2026. SBI Clerk Prelims Shift Timings 2026
The SBI Clerk Prelims exam 2026 will be conducted on September 26 and 27, 2026. The exam will be conducted in four shifts on the given dates. Candidates are advised to report to the exam centre on or before the reporting time mentioned on the admit card. Important Documents to Carry to SBI Clerk Exam 2026
Candidates who will be appearing for the SBI Clerk Prelims Exam on September 26 and 27, 2026, should carry their original and a physical printed copy to enter the exam centre. Given below is the list of important documents that the candidates should carry to the exam centre:-
- Printed copy of SBI Clerk Prelims Admit Card:- Make sure to carry the recent passport-size photograph and the admit card to the exam centre.
- Two additional passport-size photographs:- These should be the same as the photograph which has been uploaded in the online application form.
- Valid Photo ID Proof (Original):- Any one of the following official photo ID cards should be carried to the exam centre: Aadhaar card, PAN Card, Passport, Driving License, Voter’s ID Card, etc.
- Photocopy of the Photo ID:- A clear photocopy of the same photo ID proof being carried with the original proof of identity.
Exam Day Guidelines for SBI Clerk Exam 2026
When candidates download the admit card for the SBI Clerk Prelims 2026, they must read the exam instructions, which are mentioned on the admit card, very carefully. Given below are the important exam-day instructions for the SBI Clerk Prelims Exam 2026:-
- Any electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, smartwatches, fitness bands, Bluetooth devices, earphones, microphones, or pagers are not allowed in the examination hall.
- Any study material like books, notebooks, loose paper sheets, printed or written notes, or any kind of geometry box will not be allowed in the exam centre.
- Candidates are advised not to carry any expensive jewellery, metallica ornament, or wallets to the exam centre.
- Candidates are advised to reach the exam centre at least 45 to 60 minutes before the reporting and exam time to complete the biometric registration and identity verification smoothly.
- Make sure that the signature and photograph match the uploaded signature and photo ID.
- Candidates will be given rough sheets by the invigilators to use for rough work. Candidates will have to write their roll number or registration number at the top of each rough sheet, and they will be returned before leaving the exam centre.
- Candidates are advised to wear simple, comfortable clothes with minimal metallic buttons or accessories to speed up the frisking.
- During the exam, candidates should avoid wild guessing, as there is negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer. It can significantly drop the normalised scores.
- If the puzzle, Data Interpretation (DI) set, or complex math problem takes more than 1-2 minutes, skip it immediately and return later if the time permits.
