The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Selection Commission, UPSSSC, has released the UP Lekhpal Cutoff 2026, along with the UP Lekhpal 2026 result under the advertisement number 203/11/Computer Section (Twelve)/2025-26/02-Exam/2025. Through this result and cutoff, the Commission has shortlisted the candidates for 7994 Revenue Accountant (Rajasva Lekhpak) posts across Uttar Pradesh. Around 3.66 Lakh candidates had qualified through the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) to appear for the Mains Exam held on May 21, 2026. In the Mains result and category-wise cutoff marks, only 28,409 candidates have been shortlisted and will now be called for the next stage of the selection process, i.e., Document Verification. Those candidates who are shortlisted for the Document Verification stage will be informed separately regarding the document upload process on the official website, i.e., upsssc.gov.in.

There are several factors that determine the cutoff marks for the UP Lekhpal recruitment exam 2026, which are as follows:-
- UPSSSC shortlists approximately 15 times the total number of offered vacancies, which are based on the normalised PET scores, keeping the competition high.
- The Mains Exam of the UPSSSC Lekhpal has a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer, which plays an important role in determining the cutoff marks.
- Marks scored in Mathematics and Rural Development heavily influence overall ranking as candidates' accuracy varies widely in technical sections.
