IIT Bombay: The IIT Bombay exams postponed due to the incident in the month of September are scheduled to commence from October 10 and 11, 2026. These postponed examinations will take place based on the new SOP issued by the institute's Senate and will include the stringent entry policy for the students and Teaching Assistants (TAs).
Based on the new SOP framed by the institute's Senate, security personnel will not frisk students before allowing them to enter the examination hall. In case a student is found guilty of any kind of academic malpractice, the invigilators will seize the banned items with minimal disturbance to the student, provide him or her with a fresh answer script and call the Quick Response Team (QRT) of the wellness counselors immediately. Faculty members and students who are involved in the academic malpractice will submit their documentation forms separately to the Departmental Disciplinary Action Committee (DDAC).
