IIT Bombay Resumes Mid-Semester Exams On October 10-11 With Strict Rules for Students & TAs
IIT Bombay is set to resume its postponed mid-semester examinations on October 10 and 11, 2026. Rescheduled following the campus tragedy in late September, the tests will be conducted under strict entry guidelines for students and Teaching Assistants (TAs) alongside a revised interim standard operating procedure (SOP) for academic misconduct approved by the institute's Senate.
IIT Bombay: The IIT Bombay exams postponed due to the incident in the month of September are scheduled to commence from October 10 and 11, 2026. These postponed examinations will take place based on the new SOP issued by the institute's Senate and will include the stringent entry policy for the students and Teaching Assistants (TAs).
Based on the new SOP framed by the institute's Senate, security personnel will not frisk students before allowing them to enter the examination hall.
