The Uttar Pradesh Board of High School and Intermediate, Allahabad is all set to conduct the Class 12 board exams 2014 in the state in the month of March. And, if follow the previous years’ exam schedules, the board will most likely declare the UP Board Class 12th Result 2014 in the last week of May 2014. The Exam Schedule for UP Board Class 12 exams 2014 has already been made public by the state board. According to the released date sheet, the exams will be held in two shifts a day – morning and afternoon, and will begin from 03 March 2014 and finish on 04 April 2014 with the papers of Military science & Hindi – I on the first day, and Geography-II & Commercial Education-V on the last day.
The Director of Secondary Education, Vasudev Yadav said that in 2014 UP board examinations, students will be allowed extra 15 minutes to read the question paper in an exam. Practical examinations the 2014 board exams will be conducted from 10 January to 10 February 2014, revealed Yadav.
As per the data collected, 31, 27,066 students are going to sit in the UP Board’s Intermediate examination 2014.
Last year, that is, in 2013 the class 12th state board exams in Uttar Pradesh 2013 was flagged off on 12 March and finished on 06 April 2013 and the results of which were declared on 5 June 2013. Of the total 26 lakh students who appeared in Class 12th board exams in UP last year, 92.68% passed the exams, and with a pass percentage of 96.32%, girls outshined the boys in the state. Only 89.79% of the total boys appeared in the exam were passed.
