Eligibility Criteria for Group C/ D Posts
Educational/Technical Qualification & Experience:
Group C (NTPC Only): Candidates should have 12th (+2 stage) pass or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate. 50% marks is not to be insisted upon in case of SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen & for the candidate of any category possessing higher Qualification. (ii) Scouting/Guiding Qualification as in Para 4.0
Group D : (i) Candidates should have 10th pass with National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT or 10th pass plus ITI.(ii) Scouting/Guiding Qualification as in Para 4.0
Eastern Railway Group C and D Posts Pay Scale :
- Group C (NTPC Only) - Rs.5200-20200/-with GPRs.1900/-[Corresponding to Level-2 of Pay Matrix (7thCPC)
- Group D – Rs.5200-20200/-with GP Rs.1800/-[Corresponding to Level-1 of Pay Matrix (7thCPC)
Eastern Railway Age Limit:
- Group C (NTPC Only) - 18 to 30 yrs.
- Group D – 18 to 33 yrs.
(Relaxation in upper age limit for various category under government norms.)
Selection Process for Group C/ D Posts
Candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Test, Scouting Skills and Academic Merit.
