The candidates who wish to work at Gram Panchayat level as Panchayat Assistant has a huge opportunity. The selection process of the candidates will be done on the basis of merit and class 10th and 12th marks. Those who secure high will be given priority. To apply for the above posts, the candidate must be a resident of the same gram panchayat and should have passed the intermediate exam from Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education.
Earlier, Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary, Minister of Panchayati Raj in the Government of Uttar Pradesh has announced 58,189-gram panchayat offices in the state. For the development of these secretariats, an expenditure of Rs 1.75 lakh is to be made by the government on each panchayat.
The government is recruiting Panchayat Assistant-cum-Accountant-cum-Data Entry Operator to run these secretariats providing space for Jan Seva Kendras and BC Sakhi. These Panchayat assistants will be appointed by the head of the concerned Gram Panchayat.
A total of 58189 vacancies will be recruited. The application process for recruitment to the post of Panchayat Assistant cum DEO is ongoing through offline mode. Educational Qualification: The candidate must be a resident of the same Gram Panchayat from where he/she is applying and 10+2 Intermediate exam passed from Any Recognized Board in India.
