Zimbabwe scored 344/4 runs in 20 overs against Gambia in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup Sub-Regional Africa Qualifier B on Wednesday, surpassing Nepal's previous best of 314, set against Mongolia at the Hangzhou Asian Games in 2023.

Bennett raced to 50 off 26 balls, while Marumani dominated with a scorching 62 from just 19 deliveries. Their explosive partnership set the tone for Zimbabwe’s record innings, highlighting their intent and batting firepower from the outset.
Clive Madande kept the momentum going with a blistering unbeaten 53 off just 17 balls.
