Bihar Librarian Syllabus 2026: The Bihar School Examination Board will conduct the Librarian Eligibility Test (LET) 2026 to fill a total of 5,800 Librarian vacancies. The candidates who wish to participate in the examination shall start their preparation as the official notification has been released and the application process will start from 01 October. The candidates should download the syllabus and start preparing for the exam which is tentatively scheduled to be held in the month of December 2026. The syllabus will serve as a guide to streamline the preparation of the candidates. The exam consists of a single paper which includes two sections- Library Science and General Studies.

Bihar Librarian Exam Pattern 2026
Having an understanding of the exam pattern gives the candidates an edge in streamlining their preparation. The Bihar Librarian/LET exam pattern consists of a single paper for 150 MCQs for 150 marks. There is no provision for negative marking in the exam. The exam will be conducted in online mode in both Hindi and English medium.
