Bank Holiday Next Week: As we all know that the festive season is coming up, and a big chunk of Indian society prefers physical money, so they rush to banks for cash withdrawal. Bank customers and students should always check the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) holiday calendar before stepping out for a bank visit. For next week, from October 5 to 11, banks are scheduled to have bank holidays on selected days.
Although banks would remain closed on selected dates, online banking, money transfer, UPI and ATMs will work normally.
When Will Banks Be Closed From October 5 o October 11?
The upcoming holidays are scheduled for both private and public banks according to the RBI scheduled holiday list. These holidays will be observed across the nation, respective to local beliefs.
The selected days on which the banks will remain closed between October 5 and October 11 are the weekends. The main closures during this period will fall on October 10 and October 11, covering the second Saturday and regular Sunday holiday.

October 10, Saturday: Banks across India will remain closed as it is the second Saturday of the month. Mahalaya Amavasye will also be observed as a bank holiday in Bengaluru and Kolkata, according to the RBI holiday calendar.
October 11, Sunday: Bank branches across India will remain closed due to the regular weekly holiday.
