Sri Lanka recently registered an unwanted record in T20 internationals. In Semi-Final 2 of the men’s cricket competition in the Asian Games 2026 between India and Sri Lanka, the latter were bundled out for just 45 runs on Thursday, October 1.

The disappointing batting performance has led Sri Lanka to assess the performance. Sri Lanka now have one of the lowest T20I scores by a full-member nation.

1. West Indies: 45 All Out vs England (2019)

The lowest score of West Indies came in 2019 against England when they were chasing a total of 183 runs. They were bundled out for just 45 runs at their home venue. The star of the show was England’s Chris Jordan, who took 4 wickets in 2 overs to completely dismantle the Caribbean batting lineup.
