Shubman Gill becomes the second-ever batter to score multiple double centuries in One Day International cricket. The Indian skipper achieved this remarkable milestone during the second ODI against West Indies in Guwahati on Wednesday.

Chasing a mammoth target of 406 runs, Gill led the chase from the front with a sensational knock, helping India secure a series victory. With this win, India now has an unassailable 2-0 lead in the 3-match series.

How Shubman Gill score a double century?

Gill came out to bat when it looked like a tough target for India.

The Indian skipper started aggressively right from the start, scoring boundaries with ease. He went on to score a brilliant hundred with a crisp boundary off Vitel Lawes, becoming the second 150-plus score for him this year. His earlier 150-plus score came against Afghanistan in June.

Shubman Gill scored 203 runs off 121 deliveries, including 24 fours and 7 sixes.
