The Women’s Asia Cup 2026 is a continental tournament organised by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC). The tournament takes place every 2 years with various teams from across the Asian continent competing for the title.
In 2004, the tournament took place for the first time in the ODI format, with India and Sri Lanka playing a 5 match series, which the former won 5-0. Later in 2012, the tournament was held in the T20I format for the first time in China. Since then, it has been played in the same format.
