NEET PG 2026 counselling dates were announced yesterday by the Medical Counselling Committee, MCC at the official website, i.e. mcc.nic.in. Candidates seeking admission to medical courses through NEET PG 2026 scores can participate in the counselling process. The registration process will begin on October 12, 2026, for 50% AIQ seats.
Candidates have to appear for the counselling process, fill and lock their preferred college and course choice, upload relevant documents and pay the counselling fee to complete the process. Documents Required for NEET PG 2026 Counselling
Following list of documents will be required to be uploaded during the NEET PG 2026 counselling process:
- NEET PG admit card 2026
- NEET PG 2026 scorecard
- MBBS Degree certificate
- MBBS marksheets
- MBBS registration certificate
- Valid photo ID issued by government of India
- Passport-size photograph
- Category certificate, if applicable

MCC NEET PG 2026 Counselling: New Rules Introduced and Changes
Following NEET PG upgradations and changes have been introduced this year for the counselling process:
- Freeze Candidates: Candidates who have secured the seat and no upgradation is required will fall under this category. They can join the allotted seat as per the schedule.
- Float Candidates: Candidates can choose this path if they wish to upgrade after the first round of counselling in hope for a better college or course. They will have to upload the documents to online and wait for the subsequent rounds.
- Online Seat Resignation or Withdrawal: Candidates with provisional admission may be required submit a seat surrender request with supporting documents online to the Nodal Officer of the allotted institute.
- Online NRI Quota Process: NRI quota counselling process for NEET PG has shifted to the online mode this year as well. In 2025, candidates seeking NRI eligibility had to email supporting documents to MCC before each round. This year, they can simply register on the MCC portal to complete the process.
