KVPY 2022 Postponed: Amid rising concerns around the Omicron Surge in several state, the KVPY 2022 Fellowship Exam has been postponed by the exam authority. Going the by official update, the KVPY Exam 2022 has been deferred until further notice owing to rapid rise in Omicron Cases and emergence of several COVID-19 hotspots throughout the country. Until yesterday, the exam authority had not taken any decision with regards to postponement of KVPY 2022 exam and the exam was expected to go on as per its earlier schedule of 9th January 2022. However, following concerns shared by candidates and the COVID-19 restrictions and weekend curfew announcement in many states, the exam authority has decided to postpone the exam for now.
New Notification on Official Website
To confirm the deferment of KVPY 2022 exam, the exam authority has also released an official notification and published it on the website. The notification reads "KVPY Aptitude test will be conducted on 9th January 2022 as scheduled. In view of the COVID-19 situation, several states have imposed additional containment measures including curfew, candidates are advised to carry ID proof and Admit card in case of verification. Please carefully read the travel advisory and follow the norms in respective states to appear for the aptitude test on 9th January 2022." KVPY Admit Card 2022 Already Released
As per the official website, IISER which is in charge of holding the KVPY 2022 Exam has already released the admit cards for the fellowship exam. The KVPY Admit Card 2022 have been released and made available to the candidates online via the official website i.e. kvpy.iisc.ernet.in. Candidates can follow the simple step-wise directions provided below to download their individual hall tickets:
- Step 1: Log onto the exam portal i.e. kvpy.iisc.ernet.in
- Step 2: Locate and Click on Link for Download Admit Card
- Step 3: You will reach a new page with input fields
- Step 4: Enter the details asked on the website, verify and submit them
- Step 5: Your KVPY Admit Card 2022 will be displayed on the screen
- Step 6: Download the hall ticket and take printout for future reference
