Maharashtra 11th admission 2020: FYJC Part 2 online applications from tomorrow

Maharashtra State Government will begin the Class 11 Admissions for 2020 academic year from tomorrow - August 12, 2020. Students who have submitted the part 1 of the admission forms can visit the official website to complete Part 2 of the applications.

FYJC Part 2 applications from tomorrow: Maharashtra State Government will begin the Class 11 Admissions for 2020 academic year from tomorrow - August 12, 2020. The students who wish to apply for the admissions are advised to visit the official website to submit the application. The admission forms will be available on the official website - 11thadmission.org.in. The last date to submit the part 2 applications for FYJC Admissions is August 22, 2020, and the first merit list for the FYJC Admissions is scheduled to be released on August 30, 2020. 

The students who have filled Part 1 of the admissions forms and have verified the same can select the colleges they wish to apply for in Part 2 of the admission forms. On the other hand, fresh applicants can submit both Parts 1 and 2 of the admission form together. The provisional merit list for FYJC admission 2020 will be released on August 23, 2020, following which students can use the objection and correction options if there are any mistakes in the details mentioned in the list.

Delay in verification of Part 1 Applications

The Director of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has written to the Deputy Director of Education to clear the pending verified forms for the First Year Junior College admissions as quickly as possible. According to reports, very few numbers of application forms have been verified as compared to the total number of applicants on the Centralised portal for the FYJC admissions.

According to the numbers provided in the media reports, in Pune close to 91,000 students registered for the FYJC 2020 admissions out of which 58,000 forms have been verified as of Monday evening. 

Letter written to the Deputy Director of Education 

In the letter, the director has also added that the students from other boards are required to ensure the conversion of marks was done correctly and that the students have locked their forms after filling the same for further admission procedures. 

The Director of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Dinkar Patil also added that the process of filling up the second part of the admission forms needs to be started soon and for this, the necessary process of filling up the first part of the admission forms need to be completed. 

He further added that it has been brought to the notice that many of the admission forms have not been submitted/locked by the students and these are the only forms that are pending for the verification at the different respective guidance centres of the schools.
