The official notification for the NEET UG 2022 entrance exams is expected to be declared on the official website of the National Testing Agency soon. As per media reports, in a letter written to the National Testing Agency, the NMC has advised the NTA to revise the eligibility criteria and remove any upper age limit for applying for the entrance exams.
The move will be a relief to many of the aspirants who have been waiting for the Supreme Court’s decision regarding the same. The NMC in 2019 had introduced an upper age limit of 25 years for UG exams which was contested and a petition was filed in the Supreme Court.

As per this, candidates who have completed 18 years of age as of December 21 of the year of the exams are eligible to appear for the NEET UG exams.
