Deandra Dottin, a strong all-rounder from the West Indies, was signed by the Gujarat Giants for ₹1.7 crore after a bidding battle with UP Warriorz.
The highlight was Simran Shaikh, an uncapped Mumbai batter who became the most expensive player at ₹1.9 crore, also going to the Gujarat Giants after beating the Delhi Capitals in bidding.
G Kamalini, a young wicketkeeper-batter from India U19, was picked by the Mumbai Indians for ₹1.6 crore following competition with the Delhi Capitals.
Additionally, Prema Rawat, an all-rounder from Uttarakhand, joined Royal Challengers Bangalore for ₹1.2 crore. The auction featured 120 players, with each team having a budget of ₹15 crore to build their squads.
