India won the first medal of Day 15 of the Asian Games 2026 with a historic gold medal in the women’s individual recurve archery event. Kumkum Mohod became the first-ever Indian to win an individual medal in this event at the Asian Games. The win also secured a place for her at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics.

Pranavi Urs also clinch gold becoming the first India women golfer to achieve this feat in individual event in Asian Games.
