For those wondering who Nana Patekar was amid the news of his death surfacing all over the internet, he was one of the main figures in the Indian cinema scene due to his strong presence on the screen and unique way of delivering dialogues.

The whole film industry grieved at the news about Nana Patekar's death that occurred on October 8, 2026, at the age of 75. He experienced a sudden cardiac arrest in his apartment in Dona Paula, Goa. And despite all efforts to revive him, he died as stated in Manipal Hospital reports.

Based on reports, Dr. Shekhar Salkar from Manipal Hospital said that the doctors gave 45 minutes of CPR to the actor who was found unconscious at home.

However, despite all efforts, the doctors were unable to revive his heartbeat and he succumbed to death at 5:10 AM IST.
