Shinde has also played a role in the CJP's School Thik Karo campaign, which focuses on improving the condition of government schools across India. He was also involved in organising the group's Mumbai agitation earlier in October 2026.

Abhijeet Dipke is not leading the protest because Delhi Police detained him along with other senior CJP members on Saturday, October 10, 2026. Dipke, along with CJP members Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka, was detained shortly after their flight from Mumbai landed in Delhi.

Why is Ajinkya Shinde Leading the CJP Protest?

On October 10, Delhi Police detained several high-profile figures, including YouTuber Dhruv Rathee and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. The list of detained individuals also included CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke and senior party members Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka.

After its earlier campaign against the NEET-UG 2026 paper leak controversy, which the party presented as a success following the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, the CJP is now demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over alleged irregularities in electoral rolls.

With its founder and senior members in detention, Ajinkya Shinde is set to lead the party's protest at Jantar Mantar.
