Delhi should have 85% seats reserved for its students, says Kejriwal. Addressing the public meeting in Khichdipur village of Patparganj assembly, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that all the Delhites will have to fight for the entire state together. He said that if Delhi becomes a full state, he will give 85% reservation for the students in Delhi colleges and 85% reservation in government jobs will be given. Along with this, the law and order of Delhi will also be improved. After becoming a full state, every employee will be given a permanent job and will give a home to every resident family of Delhi.

Kejriwal said, today even after getting 90% marks, Delhi candidates find it difficult to get admission in any college in Delhi. In all other states, 85% of seats are reserved for their candidates. Giving an example of a college in DU, he said that 140 seats out of 150 seats were filled by students from Tamil Nadu. He said that the question arises that where will our children go? 85 percent seats should be reserved for Candidates passing class 12th from Delhi.

He said that new Universities and colleges would be started when Delhi will become full state and students with 60% marks will also be able to get admission in good colleges. Kejriwal said that he ordered ten times for the permanent workforce in the parliament. The cabinet passed the resolution that the job of the contractual workers should be confirmed but that file is yet to be passed by the central government. If Delhi becomes a full state, then in 24 hours the job will be confirmed.

Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said that work in Delhi in the last 4 years has been done because the people of Delhi dreamed of affordable electricity, water, better school, and hospital. Today we have to dream bigger, make a full state, and in order to make this dream come true, the Aam Aadmi Party will have to win seven seats in Delhi, he said. Lok Sabha candidate from East Delhi, Atishi said that the people of Delhi thought in 2015 the right to vote for the honest party, so today their government schools and hospitals have become better. She said, your vote has a lot of strength and this time you have to give your vote to make the full state.
