One-year course in Urdu Language offered at JMI via Distance Mode

Jamia Millia Islamia is offering a one year course in the Urdu language in the English or Hindi Medium. The programme will be conducted via distance mode helping students to learn the language as per their convenience. Application forms for the programme are available on the official website of the university. Candidates can visit the official website to check the details of the programme and the link to download the application form for the programme.

A press release announcing the details of the programme is available on the official website of the university. As per the press release candidates who wish to apply for the programme are required to submit an enrollment fee of Rs. 100/-. The enrollment fee for foreign students from SAARC countries is USD 20 and USD 50 for students from other countries.

The press release also states that there will be no tuition fee charged from the students who enroll in the programmes. The application form and the prospectus of the programme can be availed from the Hony. Director for Urdu Correspondence Course at the Centre for Distance and Open Learning, Jamia Millia Islamia. Candidates are required to send a self-addressed 24 by 12 envelope duly stamped with Rs. 10 postage stamp to the address mentioned to get the application form and prospectus.

Candidates are required to fill in the name, father’s name, mother’s name, permanent address and mailing address, category, nationality, date of birth, email ID, mother tongue and Aadhar number in the application form.
