ITBP Constable Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the nationality, age, education and sports conditions below. Check each point carefully before applying, because the sports certificate requirements are strict.
Nationality

The recruitment is open to male and female Indian citizens, including subjects of Nepal and Bhutan.
Age Limit
-
Candidates must be between 18 and 23 years as on 1 November 2026.

Relaxation is up to 5 years for UR/EWS/OBC and up to 10 years for SC/ST meritorious sportspersons.

The age concession is given only to sportspersons who meet all other conditions and produce the prescribed certificate.
Educational Qualification

Matriculation (Class 10) or equivalent from a recognized board.
Sports Achievement

Candidates should have participated or won a medal in international, national, inter-university or Khelo India events between 1 January 2024 and 1 November 2026.

The sports certificate must be in the prescribed format from the competent authority.

All required educational and sports certificates must be held on the date of recruitment, or the candidate is not eligible.
