Kerala PG Medical Admission 2026: The Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of Kerala published on October 4, 2026, which officially approved the prospectus for admissions to medical post graduate degree courses for the academic year 2026-27. It regulates the state quota and self financing admissions to government medical colleges in Kerala, Regional Cancer Centre (RCC) Thiruvananthapuram and non-government medical institutions in the State. The state-level centralised allotment process (CAP) is being managed online through the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala, based on the rank lists generated from the NEET PG 2026 examination of the National Board of Examinations (NBE).
One should have an NMC-recognised MBBS qualification, finish rotating internship by September 30, 2026, and get registered with the Kerala State Medical Council. The detailed prospectus provides operational guidelines related to seat matrix allocation, Service Quota 10%, fee waiver on category basis, and admission criteria. Apart from this, the admitted candidates for general merit and All India Quota (AIQ) seats need to sign a mandatory bond to fulfill one year of compulsory senior residency in government institutions after completion of the course. Penalty of liquidated damage of ₹50,00,000 is levied if one leaves the seat after final allotment.
