Important Dates for Kerala TET 2026

The registration process will start on September 23, 2026, and will close on October 3, 2026. Along with the registration dates, the Pareeksha Bhavan, Kerala, has also released the exam dates for the Kerala TET 2026. The exam for Categories 1 to 4 will be conducted from November 14 to 15, 2026.  The exam will be conducted in two shifts, i.e., morning and evening shifts. The morning shift will start at 10:00 AM and will finish at 12:30 pm, and the evening shift will start at 2:00 PM and will finish at 4:30 PM. The paper will have to be completed within 2.5 hours.

Candidates can submit their application forms online by following the simple steps which are given below:-

• Go to the official website of the KTET, i.e., ktet.keral.gov.in
• Click on registration and generate a user login ID by entering the basic details like the name, contact number, email address, etc.
• Select the respective category (I,II, III, or IV) and fill in the academic details and personal details.
• Upload the scanned passport-size photographs and signatures according to the prescribed dimensions.

KTET Qualifying Marks & Lifetime Validity Rules

Given below are some important points related to the KTET September 2026 that the candidates should know about:-

• To receive the KTET passing certificate, candidates must secure scores above the minimum qualifying marks.
• For candidates belonging to the general category, they have to score a minimum of 60% (90 out of 150 marks).
• For candidates belonging to the OBC, OBC-NCL, SC, ST categories, they have to score a minimum of 55% (82.5 out of 150 marks).
• For candidates belonging to PH or PwBD, they have to score a minimum of 50% (75 out of 150 marks).
• The KTET eligibility certificate features lifetime validity. Candidates who qualify the exam once are not required to reappear unless they wish to improve their score percentile.
