How Many SSB Centres Are There in India?

SSB Procedure for NDA and CDS Entries
Candidates who qualify for the written exam and fulfill the relevant requirements as per the selection process prescribed for various entries are called for the SSB interview. The process is conducted in two stages.
Stage 1: Candidates will appear for the Officer Intelligence Rating (OIR) Test and Picture Perception and Discussion Test (PP&DT). Candidates who qualify the screening stage will continue to the next stage
Stage 2: This stage includes psychological tests, Group Testing Officer (GTO) tasks, a personal interview and the final conference. Candidates are assessed for their personality, leadership qualities, communication, teamwork and decision making skills.
Candidates who are recommended for various entries are subsequently required to undergo a medical examination. Final selection is made as per the entry rules, merit and no of vacancies available for each force.
What Happens During the SSB Interview?
The SSB interview is designed to assess whether a person has the qualities required to become an officer in the Indian Armed Forces. Candidates participate in individual and group activities during the selection process.
