MP Subedar Steno ASI 2026: The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB) has released the MPESB Subedar Stenographer and ASI Recruitment 2026 notification for the MP Police Department. A total of 655 vacancies have been announced, including 135 posts of Subedar (Stenographer) and 520 posts of Assistant Sub Inspector (Ministerial). MPESB Subedar Steno ASI 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying, candidates must check that they meet the educational, typing, age and physical requirements. Both male and female candidates can apply if they meet the prescribed conditions.  

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary (10+2) examination. 

Subedar (Stenographer) Post

• Candidates must have passed Hindi shorthand at 100 words per minute from a recognised board or institution. 

ASI (Ministerial) Post

• The shorthand condition is not listed for this post, but CPCT Hindi typing and the computer qualification are needed. 

Age Limit

• The maximum age is 33 years as on 1 January 2026.  

• Age relaxation is given as per government rules.  

Physical Standards

• The minimum height requirement is the same for both posts. Category-specific physical standards and medical conditions are in the official rulebook.
