RRB NTPC Undergraduate Subject-Wise Syllabus 2026

Interested candidates must check the complete RRB NTPC Undergraduate subject-wise syllabus in the list given below:

General Awareness, Mathematics, and Reasoning

The subjects and topics are the same as the graduate-level syllabus listed above. The important difference is in strategy. Undergraduate aspirants should focus more on basic concepts, static GK, and Class 10 level maths, because the competition is high and cutoffs depend on accuracy and speed.

RRB NTPC Preparation Tips 2026

The RRB NTPC exam is not very hard, but the competition is very high. With a smart plan and regular practice, you can clear both CBT 1 and CBT 2. Here are some simple tips that work for graduate- and undergraduate-level aspirants.

Know the Syllabus and Pattern First

Before you start studying, go through the full syllabus and exam pattern once. This helps you decide which topics need more time. Make a list of all topics from General Awareness, Mathematics, and Reasoning, and tick them off as you finish.

Make a Daily Study Plan

A fixed routine keeps you consistent. Try to give time to all three subjects every day instead of studying only one. A simple plan is 2 hours for Maths and Reasoning, 1 to 2 hours for General Awareness, and 1 hour for revision and current affairs.

Focus on Maths Basics and Speed

Maths questions in NTPC are based on Class 10 level concepts, so strong basics are enough. Learn tables, squares, cubes, and shortcut methods to save time. Practise topics like percentage, ratio, time and work, and profit and loss daily.

Practise Reasoning Every Day

Reasoning is a scoring section if you practise regularly. Solve series, coding-decoding, syllogism, and direction questions daily. The more you practise, the faster and more accurate you become.

Stay Updated with Current Affairs

General Awareness has the highest number of questions, so do not ignore it. Read the last 6 months of current affairs, and also revise static GK like history, geography, polity, and general science. Make short notes so that revision becomes easy.

Solve Previous Year Papers and Mock Tests

Previous year papers show you the real exam level and the important topics. Attempt full-length mock tests at least twice a week and analyse your mistakes after each test. This also improves your time management.

Avoid Wrong Attempts

Since there is negative marking of one-third of a mark, do not guess blindly. Attempt only those questions where you are fairly sure. Accuracy matters as much as speed.
