UP Special TET 2026:- The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC), Prayagraj, will close the online registration and fee payment window for the Special Teacher Eligibility Test (Special TET 2026-Advertisement Number 03/2026) today, October 4, 2026. In-service primary and upper primary and upper primary teachers, alongside eligible special educators across Uttar Pradesh, must complete their One Time Registration (OTR) and submit their online forms before the midnight on the official website at upessc.up.gov.in. The written exam for the UP Special TET 2026 is scheduled to take place on November 3, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria for the UP Special TET 2026

Before applying for the UP Special TET candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria carefully. Given below is the eligibility criteria that the candidates will be required to clear to appear for the UP Special TET 2026 exam:-

• Mandatory OTR:- Applicants will have to complete the One Time Registration (OTR) process on the UPESSC website before filling out the Special TET application form.
• Working teachers at the Primary and Upper Primary levels, as well as Special Educators who are registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). In service government or aided school teachers are required to enter their eHRMS code during the application submission process.
• Upper Age Limit:- Up to 60 years as of November 3, 2026, for eligible contractual and deputation special education staff.
