Abhishek Sharma achieved another remarkable milestone in his T20I career on Sunday, October 11. The left-handed batter has now become the fastest to score 2,000 runs in T20 Internationals by the number of balls faced, going past former Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav.

Abhishek Sharma Creates History against West Indies 

In the 3rd T20I between India and West Indies at Holkar Stadium in Indore, Abhishek came out to bat and had all guns blazing. He looked in sensational touch right from the start as he went past this record in 1,024 deliveries, much faster than the second batter, Suryakumar Yadav, who had achieved the milestone in 1,164 balls.
