  • October 12-16 (Monday-Friday): Banks will operate normally across most states, including Uttar Pradesh.

How Will Bank Holidays Affect Customers And Students?

All the bank holidays will bring a pause to all the bank services. All the services that are availed physically will be paused.

On a positive note, your everyday banking does not necessarily have to take a holiday. All customers can use digital services such as UPI, ATMs, mobile banking and internet banking for routine transactions.

Certain services still require a visit to the bank, making advance planning essential. These tasks involve documentation, cheque processing and other branch-dependent activities that may face delays during festive closures.

Customers and students are advised to complete urgent banking work beforehand and check their bank’s holiday schedule. A little preparation can help keep festive celebrations free from financial inconvenience.
