Pondicherry University Distance Education Admission Starts At dde.pondiuni.edu.in, Apply Online Till March 31

Pondicherry University Admission 2024: The Directorate of Distance Education at Pondicherry University has commenced the admission process for various distance learning programmes for the academic year 2024. The last date to register for undergraduate, postgraduate, and MBA programmes is March 31, 2024. Candidates can complete the application process on the official website - dde.pondiuni.edu.in.

Distance education at the university offers 20 programmes to students. Interested candidates can opt for MBA degrees in Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management, International Business, General, Tourism, Operations and Supply Chain Management, and Hospital Management. 

In addition, Pondicherry University offers 4 post-graduate programmes, including MCom (Finance) and MA in English, Hindi, and Sociology. It also offers 8 undergraduate programmes in BBA, BCom, BA in English, Economics, History, Political Science, Sociology, and Journalism, and Mass Communication.

All India Council of Technical Education and the Distance Education Bureau (UGC-DEB), New Delhi have recognised and approved the mentioned degree programmes. A direct link has also been provided below for candidates to fill out the application form.

Steps To Apply For Distance Education Programme 2024

Step 1: Visit the official website - dde.pondiuni.edu.in

Step 2: Click on the ‘Admission Open’ tab

Step 3: Click on ‘Apply Online’ and enter your valid login credentials to fill out the application form

Step 4: Fill in the relevant educational and other qualifications

Step 5: Upload the required documents

Step 6: Pay the registration fee to complete the application process

Step 7: Click on ‘Submit’ and download the confirmation page for future reference

Distance Education Admission 2024: Documents required

Eligible candidates are required to upload scanned copies of the following documents. Applicants must also note that if the documents are not legible, applications will be summarily rejected. 

• Class 10 or equivalent mark sheet
• Class 12 or its equivalent mark sheet
• Degree or provisional certificate of the qualifying degree (Only for PG and MBA degree programmes)
• Passport size photo
• Aadhar card
• Fee Concession category certificate, if applicable

Distance Education Programme 2024: Application Fee

Applicants are required to pay an application fee of Rs 200 for the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes before March 31, 2024. Meanwhile, the registration fee for the MBA courses is Rs 300. 

Candidates must also note that the university will offer a 100 percent tuition fee concession for differently-abled students. It will also offer a 50 percent tuition fee concession to defence personnel serving in armed and para-military forces, a non-teaching employee of the university and their wards (Group B, C, and D only), widows, deserted women, prisoners, and transgenders.
