Though the wave of extensive staff reductions that afflicted Big Tech last year seems to have diminished, employees are far from out of danger. The latest data from Layoffs reveals that a minimum of 159 tech firms have terminated over 41,000 workers collectively this year. Notable names in this trend include industry titans like Microsoft, Google, Salesforce, and Meta.

Despite the downsizing, there appears to be no souring of employees' perceptions towards their workplaces, as indicated by a recent analysis conducted by Forbes in partnership with Statista, which surveyed over 170,000 U.S.-based workers. Here is the list:

As in preceding years, the industries most prominently featured on the list this year were healthcare and social services, education, banking and financial services, and insurance. Interestingly, however, half of the employers within the top ten were hospital systems, with three of them dedicated to children's care. These included Children’s Hospital Colorado, Cook Children’s Health Care System (ranked No. 3) in Texas, Houston Methodist (ranked No. 7), St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (ranked No. 9) in Tennessee, and the University of Kansas Health System (ranked No. 10).
