CAT Result 2021 Soon @ iimcat.ac.in: Know When and How to Download Scorecard, Expected Cutoff

CAT 2021 Result Soon: As per the updates, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad will soon announce the Common Admission Test (CAT) tentatively in the second week of January 2022. Candidates can check their CAT scorecard on the official website - iimcat.ac.in. They will have to use their user ID and password in the login window. The CAT scorecard will be released in the form of pdf.

As per the official data, around 1.92 lakh candidates appeared for the exam out of 2.30 lakhs registered eligible candidates. The overall attendance was approximately 83%. Out of the 1.92 lakh candidates, 35% were females, 65% were males and 2 candidates represented transgender.

When To Check CAT Scorecard 2021?

As per the official notification released by IIM Ahmedabad, it has been mentioned that the CAT results are likely to be declared by the second week of January 2022 in online mode. Candidates can go through the table provided below to know the CAT result and other important dates -

As per the past trends of the previous three years, CAT result has always been announced in the first week of January. However, in the notification released this year, it has been stated that the CAT result 2021 will be announced in the second week of January. How to Download CAT Scorecard 2021?

The CAT 2021 exam scorecard will be released in PDF format. Candidates will be able to download the CAT result 2021 website by using login ID and password. The CAT 2021 result cum scorecard will include the candidate’s raw scores (sectional and overall) and percentiles (section and overall). Know here steps to download CAT scorecard -

• Step 1 - Go to the official website of CAT - iimcat.ac.in.
• Step 2 - On the homepage, click on ‘CAT Result Tab’.
• Step 3 - A new page will appear on the screen.
• Step 4 - Enter CAT user ID and password to log in.
• Step 5: Next, click on the ‘IIM CAT Scorecard’ tab.
• Step 6: CAT result will appear on the screen.
• Step 7: Download the result and keep it for future reference.

Regarding the CAT 2021 result, candidates will also be intimated via SMS on the registered phone number and an email wherein, the CAT percentile of a candidate will be mentioned. The CAT 2021 scorecard contains the scaled scores and percentile of the candidate.

What after declaration of CAT Result 2021?

Once the CAT 2021 result is released, the candidates who meet the minimum CAT cutoff score will be informed via an email by the respective IIMs for further selection rounds. Each IIM sends interview letters to the shortlisted candidates directly on email/registered/speed post. The criteria for shortlisting vary across IIMs.

CAT 2021 Expected Cutoff

Common Admission Test cutoff is the minimum marks required for the examinees to get a call for the MBA selection process. The cut-off of CAT varies for each IIM and forms the basis of the selection of candidates for Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI).

The expected cut off of CAT for admission is estimated based on the difficulty level of the question paper of each slot. Until the authorities release the official cut off, till then candidates can check the expected CAT cut off here.
