CGSOS 10th and 12th Exam 2021 Postponed: As per the latest update, the Chhattisgarh State Open School has announced postponement of the CGSOS 10th Exam 2021 for Secondary Students and CGSOS 12th Exam 2021 for Senior Secondary students in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. As per the earlier schedule, the exams were to be held from 24th May to 15th June 2021, but now with the continued rise in the COVID-19 cases in the state, the CGSOS Exam has been postponed until further notice.

New Dates to be Announced Later

As of now, the CGSOS has only decided to postpone the Secondary and Senior secondary Board exams but have not announced any revised dates for the same. According to the details shared by the Board, revised schedule for CGSOS 10th and 12th Exam 2021 will be announced later on after reviewing the situation thoroughly around COVID-19 pandemic.

CGBSE Released Evaluation Criteria for Class 10 Students

Earlier in the day, the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) has also announced evaluation criteria for the assessment of Class 10 students for whom the board exams have been cancelled due to the pandemic. According to the notice released, the CGBSE 10th Result 2021 will be based on the evaluation criteria announced by the board. The official notification about Class 10 Result evaluation criteria reads “Regular students who were not able to appear for practical exams or projects due to COVID-19 will be awarded minimum marks required for passing. Class 10 results will be prepared based on internal assessment. Hence, in every theory subject, a maximum of 72 out of 75 marks will be awarded. Similarly, for theory exams of additional subjects, a maximum of 29 out of 30 can be awarded and 68 out of 70 will be valid for practical exams.”
