
JEE Advanced 2022 Website Launched: While students still await any update on JEE Main 2022 Examination, IIT Bombay has launched the official website for JEE Advanced 2022 Examination. Yes, the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay has officially relaunched the updated website for JEE Advanced 2022 exam which is the defector screening mechanism for admission to different engineering programmes offered by IITs. The newly launched website of JEE Advanced 2022 can be accessed online via the official website – jeeadv.ac.in. With the official website launched, students can now expect the JEE Advanced 2022 dates also to be announced shortly.

For now, the exam conducting institute i.e., IIT Bombay has only released the official website of the JEE Advanced 2022 examination. No other detail, including the information brochure or important dates for the IIT JEE Screening test, have been revealed by the exam authority. With the JEE Main 2022 exam details yet to be notified by NTA, it is likely that the website will be updated with the latest information about JEE Advanced 2022 exam dates only thereafter.

The last update available on the updated website of JEE Advanced 2022 is about relaxation in the eligibility criteria for candidates who had missed the exam due to the pandemic last year. The notification mentions that candidates who appeared for the Class 12 Exam in 2020 or 2021 and had also qualified in JEE Main exam in the respective year but failed to appear for JEE Advanced 2022 due to the pandemic; will be given another chance to do so as a one-time measure. This relaxation is being offered to the candidates in light of the hardships faced by them during the COVID-19 pandemic.
About JEE Advanced 2022
JEE Advanced 2022 is the advanced level screening test that is held to shortlist candidates for admission to Bachelor’s, Integrated Master’s, and Dual Degree programs at IITs and premier technology institutions. The exam is jointly organized by seven Zonal Coordinating IITs namely IIT Kharagpur, IIT Kanpur, IIT Madras, IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, and IIT Roorkee. In terms of eligibility and qualification criteria, the top 2.5 lakh rank holders from JEE Main 2022 exam are considered to be qualified to appear for JEE Advanced exam in the respective year.
