What Is a Partnership in Cricket?
A partnership is the number of runs scored by two batters together.
For example, if two batters add 100 runs before one batter gets out, their partnership is recorded as 100 runs.
Partnerships are important because they can:
-
Help a team score many runs.
-
Put pressure on the bowlers.
-
Help a team recover after losing wickets.
-
Build a strong total.
-
Make a difficult run chase easier.
