JEE Main 2024: Paper 1 BTech, BE Exams First Shift Concludes, Shift 2 At 3 pm

NTA has successfully concluded the JEE Main shift 1 BTech and BE Paper 1 exam. The second shift of the exam will begin at 3 pm. Students are required to report to the exam centre by 2 pm.

JEE Main Paper 1 Exam 2024: The National Testing Agency has successfully concluded the JEE Main Paper 1 shift 1 exam. The first shift of the JEE Mains BTech and BE Examination was held from 9 am to 12 pm. The JEE Main Paper 1 second shift exam will be conducted from 3 pm to 6 pm. Students are required to report to the exam center by 2 pm for identification and verification pusposes.

The JEE Mains 2024 session 1 paper 1 exams are being held in two shifts. The first shift will be held from 9 am to 12 noon and the second shift will be conducted from 3 pm to 6 pm. The exams will be held online. Candidates are required to report to the JEE Mains exam centre for biometric verification and identification process by 8 am for the first shift and 2 pm for the second shift. 

JEE Main 2024 Exam Schedule

JEE Mains Admit Card 2024

The JEE Mains hall ticket 2024 for the BTech/ BE exam is now available on the official website - jeemain.nta.ac.in. The admit card has been issued for the exams to be held from January 27 to February 1, 2024. To download the JEE Main admit card students are required to visit the official website and log in using the following credentials

  • JEE Mains application number
  • Date of birth

JEE Mains 2024 What to Carry?

The JEE Main exams are being held online. Students have been provided with the list of items allowed inside the exam centre. Candidates are advised to make sure that they do not carry any items which are prohibited.

  • JEE Main 2024 Admit Card
  • Valid ID Proof
  • One Passport Size Photograph

Other Things Allowed Inside the Exam Hall

Other than the JEE Mains hall ticket 2024, students are also allowed to carry with them the following items

  • Ball Point Pen
  • Transparent Water Bottle
  • Transparent pouch
  • Medicines (For medically ill candidates)
  • Scribe certificate
  • PwD Certificate

JEE Mains 2024 Paper 1 Exam Day Guidelines

The JEE Mains 2023 Paper 1 exam is being held in two shifts. Those appearing for the exams are required to check through the exam day instructions and guidelines issued by the National Testing Agency

  • JEE Mains admit card is mandatory and should be in possession of candidates when reporting for exam
  • Valid id proofs include - Aadhar Card, Driving License, Passport other legal documents with candidates full name, photograph and date of birth
  • Students must report to the exam centre atleast an hour before the exam commence
  • Students will not be allowed to leave the exam hall until the exams conclude
  • Students reporting late will not be permitted to enter
  • Students caught cheating wll be barred from appearing for the exam
  • Moile phones, smart watches, bluetooth devices, other electrical devices, calculators etc are not permitted inside the exam hall
