How to download JEE Main 2023 admit card?

Candidates can download JEE Main admit card in online mode by visiting the NTA website. Below we have provided the steps to download JEE Main admit card. You must note that it is mandatory to carry the printout of the call letter where all the details are legible. 

• Visit the JEE Main official website which is jeemain.nta.nic.in
• Click on the JEE Main admit card 2023 download link that appears on the screen.

• Enter your JEE Main 2023 application number and date of birth
• After entering the above details, the JEE Main admit card 2023 will be displayed on the screen.
• Verify if all the details mentioned in it are correct or not. 
• Thereafter, download the JEE Main 2023 admit card and take its print out.

JEE Main admit card consists of the details that are needed that are to be known by any JEE aspirant such as candidate’s name & signature, exam date, exam centre address, exam day instructions, etc. You must make sure that all the details mentioned in it are correct. Apart from carrying the JEE Main 2023 admit card, it is also mandatory for all candidates to bring the following items to the exam hall:

• Self-Declaration Undertaking: It is a part of admit card that can be downloaded from NTA’s website
• Sanitiser (Not mandatory)
• Ball Point Pen
• Photograph: The passport-size photograph must be the same as uploaded while filling out the online application form. 
• Transparent Water Bottle (Not mandatory)
• Masks & Gloves
• Candidates who will be appearing for the B. Arch paper must carry their own geometry set, colored pencils, etc.

ID Proof Accepted in JEE Main Exam

Any one of the authorized photo IDs is approved by NTA to appear for JEE Main exam. The ID proof must be original, valid, and non-expired.

• Aadhaar Card (with the photograph)
• Aadhaar enrolment number/Ration card/PAN card
• Driving license
• Voter ID
• Passport

Steps to Retrieve JEE Main 2023 Password?

If a candidate has forgotten his/her JEE Main password, given below is the procedure to retrieve it.

• Visit the official website of JEE Main and click on the admit card link.
• Go to the ‘Forgot Password’ link
• Answer the security question that you selected while filling out the JEE Main form.
• A code will be sent to your registered phone number or a code will be sent to your registered email id.
• Enter the code.
• Set the new password as per your choice.

Steps to Retrieve JEE Main Application Number?

Here are the steps to retrieve JEE Main application number.

• Go to the official website of JEE Main and click on JEE Main admit card link.
• Go to the ‘Forgot Application Number’ link.
• Enter the details asked such as name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, state of eligibility, and security pin.
• The application number will be sent to your registered email ID and mobile number for JEE Main 2023 exam.

Exam day instructions mentioned in JEE Main Admit Card 2023

The JEE Main admit card comes with exam day instructions that have to be followed by each candidate who will be appearing for the exam. Here are some of the exam day instructions that have to be followed while taking JEE Main 2023 exam.

• Carry only those items that are allowed inside the exam hall. 
• Do not carry any electronic devices such as mobile phone, pager, bluetooth device, etc.
• Do not carry any edible item (relaxation is for those who are diabetic).
• Carry your own stationery items.
• Avoid wearing watches, bracelets, earrings, nose rings, rings, etc.
• No one is allowed to leave the exam hall before the exam ends.
• Request for change of exam venue is not allowed.
