The JEE Main session 2 exam will be held in online mode, i.e. computer based test. The exam will be held for three branches, B.Tech, B.Arch and B.Plan. Apart from carrying the JEE Main 2025 admit card, it is also mandatory for all candidates to bring the following items to the exam hall:

JEE Main 2025 Admit Card: List of Unfair Activities That Can Debar Candidates From Appearing in Exam

The NTA is all set to conduct the JEE Main session 1 2025 exam from 22nd January to 31st January 2025. The following is a list of activities that will debar the candidates from appearing in the JEE Main 2025 exam. 

⇒ Candidates who are found in possession of an item or article that is prohibited shall face unjust treatment.

⇒ Additional unfair practices include helping other candidates commit malpractices, offering or accepting assistance of any kind—directly or indirectly—or attempting to do so, breaking examination guidelines or any instructions given by NTA regarding the JEE (Main) 2025 exam, and impersonating someone else to write an exam or prepare material for copying.

⇒ Attempting to get in touch with or speak with anyone who isn't appearing for the exam, threatening officials or candidates, using improper techniques during the exam, and manipulating or fabricating online documents like rank letters, admit cards, or self-declarations will all be prohibited and regarded as unfair practices.

⇒ It is important for candidates to remember that anyone found to have used unfair tactics may face charges under the Unfair Means Case (UFM). The candidate can be charged with a crime and lose their right to run for office for three years. Furthermore, results for applicants who cheat in the JEE (Main) 2025 will be cancelled and not released.

Exam day instructions mentioned in JEE Main Admit Card 2025

The JEE Main admit card comes with exam day instructions that have to be followed by each candidate who will be appearing for the exam. Here are some of the exam day instructions that have to be followed while taking JEE Main 2025 exam.

⇒ Carry only those items that are allowed inside the exam hall. 

⇒ Do not carry any electronic devices such as mobile phone, pager, Bluetooth device, etc.

⇒ Do not carry any edible item (relaxation is for those who are diabetic).

⇒ Carry your own stationery items.

As per the new pattern, section B of the JEE Main exam 2025 for Paper 1 will have no optional questions. There will be only 5 questions per subject and candidates have to answer all 5 questions.
