JEE Main Syllabus 2023 is released by the exam organizing body which is the National Testing Agency (NTA) along with the JEE Main 2023 notification. No change has been made in JEE Main syllabus this year. The syllabus of JEE Main consists of two paper, Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 is for those who will be taking the B.E/B. Tech course while Paper 2 is for those who will be taking B.Arch/B.Planning course. Every JEE aspirant must ensure that they are well aware of the syllabus to plan their preparation strategy in accordance with JEE Main exam date. Additionally, you must have a good understanding of the NCERT book of class 11th and 12th as well.
JEE Main syllabus consists of Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry of 12th standard. An additional paper of aptitude test and planning test is held for those candidates who will be appearing for Paper 2. JEE Main Physics Syllabus

JEE Main Exam Pattern
Candidates preparing for the exam must familiarize themselves with the JEE Main Exam Pattern along with the syllabus. JEE Main is held in CBT mode. There are two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2, where Paper 1 will be for the candidates appearing for B.Tech/B.E courses and Paper 2 will be for B.Planning/ B.Arch courses.
JEE Mains Paper 1 Marking Scheme
- MCQs - (+)4 Marks will be given for every correct response and (-)1 Mark be deducted for every incorrect response
- Answers for Numeric Type Questions - (+)4 Marks will be given for every correct response and (-)1 Mark be deducted for every incorrect response
