JEE Mains Session 2 Answer key is now available for download online for session 2 exam. Candidates can download the official answer key PDF online along with response sheet and question paper PDF. Candidates can use JEE Main Answer Key response sheet and question paper PDF to calculate their scores in the exam. Candidates can submit their challenges up to April 13, 2025. 

The JEE Main Answer Key 2025 can be checked online on the NTA official website for JEE Main session 1 exam. The provisional answer key link for JEE Main session 1 was active from 4th February to 6th February 2025. The JEE Main exam for January session 1 was completed from 22nd to 30th January 2025. How to download JEE Main Answer key 2025?

The candidates who will appear for the JEE Main exam will be able to download the JEE Main answer key 2025 and response sheet from the NTA website. The answer key allows you to know the correct answer key for each question. This lets you ascertain your marks. Here are the steps to download the JEE Main answer key for session 1 and session 2. 

  • Visit JEE Main official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. 
  • Click on the link that displays JEE Main provisional answer key 2025. 
  • Once you have clicked on it, you will be required to login using your JEE Main application number and date of birth. 
  • One you have entered the login credentials, click on the submit button. 
  • The JEE Main 2025 answer key with response sheet will be displayed on your website. 
  • Download and save the NTA JEE Main answer key PDF file 2025 for further reference. 

How to challenge JEE Main 2025 Session 2 Answer Key?

NTA has given the provision to challenge the JEE Main provisional answer key 2025. Candidates have the option to raise an objection against the answer key that they find incorrect. However, candidates are required to upload proof of correct answer key while raising the answer key. They are also required to make payment of Rs. 200 for each question while challenging an answer key.

NTA will refund the fee paid by the candidates for raising an objection if the claim turns out to be relevant and true.If the claim is found to be incorrect, then no amount shall be refunded.  Here are the steps to raise an objection against the JEE Main answer key 2025: 

  • Visit the official NTA website of JEE Main Exam at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
  • Click on the link to ‘Challenge JEE Main 2025 provisional answer key’.
  • Login using your JEE Main 2025 application number and password.
  • The JEE Main answer key shall contain the question ID as well as the ID with a correct option for both papers 1 and 2.
  • In case there seems some error, candidates can challenge the question by selecting one or more IDs.
  • Click on ‘Save your claim’ and click on next.
  • Question ID so challenged will be displayed on your screen. 
  • Upload the necessary documents in support of the correct answer key. 
  • Lastly, pay the required amount of fee for challenging the answer key.

How to calculate marks using JEE Main Answer Key?

The release of JEE Main answer key 2025 allows one to calculate their marks. By knowing their marks, candidates can predict if they will be eligible for JEE Advanced exam or not. For each correct response, 4 marks will be awarded while for each incorrect answer marked, 1 mark will be deducted. Check the JEE Main marking scheme in the following table:

    Yes, the JEE Main exam pattern has been changed from this year onwards by the NTA for all three papers, i.e. Paper 1 (BE/BTech), Paper 2A (BArch) and Paper 2B (BPlan). As per the new pattern, section B of the JEE Main exam 2025 for Paper 1 will have no optional questions. There will be only 5 questions per subject and candidates have to answer all 5 questions. Similarly, in Paper 2A and 2B, there will be no optional questions in the Mathematics section.
