When JEE Application Form will be Released?
While the official announcement of JEE Main 2022 Application Form is yet to be notified by the NTA, sources close to the agency have been abuzz with activity around the same. According to the latest media reports, NTA has begun making preliminary preparations for starting the JEE Main 2022 Registration process in the online format. However, so far, no official update has been released about when will JEE Application Form will be released. But, aspirants should be aware that so far no major changes in JEE Main 2022 exam format have been announced and therefore, the application process will also be held in the same manner as last year i.e. via the official website -- jeemain.nta.nic.in.

JEE Main 2022 – Changes Expected
NTA and all other authorities have been very tight-lipped about any information related to JEE Main 2022 examination. NTA, which is the exam conducting authority has not announced any details about the upcoming engineering entrance exam so far. However, students should be fairly confident that the agency is not expected to make any major changes to the exam format this year.
- Exam to be held in 4 Sessions: Last year, the JEE Main exam was held in four sessions i.e., February, March, April and the last in August-September. The same format is likely to continue this year as well, with exams being held in March, April, May and the final sessions being organized in June 2022.
- Exam Pattern Change: Owing to the pandemic, the exam authority had introduced some key changes in the JEE Main 2022 exam pattern. The major change that was implemented was to do with making few questions options in Section B of each subject/section of the examination to offer a level playing field for students of state boards. Of the total 30 questions in each section, Section A consisted of 20 questions which were mandatory while section B consisted of 10 questions of which candidates had to only answer 5 questions. So far, NTA has not been notified if this relaxation will be continued for JEE Main 2022 or not. Clarification on the same is expected along with the official JEE Main 2022 notification.

As and when JEE Main 2022 Application Form is released by the NTA, candidates are advised to remain ready as they would have to complete the registration and application process within the specified time frame. In order to so dos, applicants are advised to familiarize themselves with the online application process explained below:
- Step 1: Log onto the exam portal – jeemain.nta.nic.in
- Step 2: Locate and click on the link for the Registration Form
- Step 3: Register yourself on the portal by providing your basic details
- Step 4: Log onto the application portal using your newly created credentials
- Step 5: Fill in your online application form by providing personal and academic information
- Step 6: Uploading supporting documents, images and signature copies as required
- Step 7: Pay the requisite application fee for JEE Main 2022 using digital means
- Step 9: Verify all the details and submit the application form on the website
- Step 10: Download the application form submission page and save it on your device for future reference
