
The National Talent Search Examination is an annually held, merit-based scholarship programme aimed at identifying and nurturing talented students all across India. The exam can be given only by students currently studying in Class 10, and are yet to appear in their board examinations. This year in the second round of the NTSE that is conducted by NCERT L Gokulnath has become All India Topper by bagging 1st position. He secured 186 marks out of 197 in the NTSE 2018.
The examination was conducted in the month of May 2018. The NTSE 2018 result was declared by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT). The candidates who gave the exam on 13 May 2018 were able to check the result in the PDF format from the official website: ncert.nic.in. L Gokulnath secured 99.4 per cent marks in the CBSE class 10th examination. He got 497 out of 500 marks in the class 10th board examination.
L Gokulnath lives in Noida sector- 120 with his parents. His father works at Metro Hospital. On asking about the preparations methods, he claimed that he studies 8 to 10 hours every day to make sure that he gets into the college of his choice. He is planning to appear for the JEE entrance to get admission in the IIT for pursuing B.Tech. Along with L Gokulnath, 18 other students also secured good marks. Aryan Bansal secured 164 marks and Pushp Shrivastava got 162 marks.
Along with this, Anshul Sinha, Aryan Sinha, Saptarshi Sen, Ayan Shree, Avi Patni, Daksh Vashantaini Stuti Lohani, Vardan Jain, Timak Jain, Anshul, Deesang Gupta, Dipash Jain, Harsh Sunil Chaudhary, Nikhil Gupta, Rishik Pushpakaran also bagged good ranks.
