A total of 90 players will compete in each tournament. Matches will be played in the fast-paced T20 format at the world’s biggest sporting event, the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics.

Cricket is one of five new sports added to the LA Games, joining squash, flag football, baseball/softball, and lacrosse. The qualification rules for cricket are still being decided.
