Anup Kumar Saha: Kotak Mahindra Bank has announced a leadership shake-up after getting a clear nod from the Reserve Bank of India. The bank has appointed Anup Kumar Saha as its next Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO).
Anup Saha will be the leader in charge of the bank from January 2027. He will be succeeding the present CEO, Mr Ashok Vaswani, whose term will end in December.
Kotak Mahindra’s new upcoming CEO will be staying the leader of one of the biggest private banks for the next three years. The bank in its statement has said that further steps will be taken to formalise the appointment. The board will set up a meeting for the final approval and other formal steps.
Anup Saha joined Kotak Mahindra in January 2026. His current designation is that of a director. He currently oversees key functions including consumer banking, marketing and data analytics.
