IIM Ahmedabad Cutoff 2026: The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA) has released the admission policy for the 2027-29 batch. To be eligible to take admissions to the IIMA, the candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree, with at least 50% marks or an equivalent CGPA. Also, the candidate must have scored the required minimum percentile as per their category.

IIM Ahmedabad has released the qualifying CAT cutoffs for the 2027-29 batch for all categories. The candidates who will score the minimum qualifying CAT percentile will get eligible for AWT and PI. Candidates can check the table below for category-wise cutoffs

IIM Ahmedabad Admission Criteria 2026

The shortlisted candidates appearing for the Analytical Writing Test (AWT) and the Personal Interview (PI) are based on the metric called “composite score”. The composite score will be calculated on the basis of the process as listed below.

The applicant should be 19 years or older by June 30, 2027.

The applicant should be an Indian national

The applicant should have applied to the 2-year full-time PGP programme of IIM Ahmedabad

For the applicants who satisfy the above criteria, our raw composite score will be calculated using the process described below.

The first part of the raw composite score is the raw application rating, which is based on the

applicant’s 10th%, 12th%, UG%, gender, and full-time work experience.

Each of these dimensions is awarded points based on the tables given below

Points awarded for percentage obtained in the 10th std. examination (Rating Score A), 12th std. examination (Rating Score B) & bachelor's degree (Rating Score C)
